Hunting Lord Derby Eland in Cameroon

Hunt Lord Derby Eland in the Savannah of Cameroon. This concession has a very healthy population of Lord Derby Eland, Roan, Western Savannah Buffalo and plentiful numbers of plainsgame.

The Faro East camp is located on the north side of the Faro river. The camp has a splendid view dominating the Savannah, and is made of solid Boukarous, around a big Bungalow used as a dining room.

Each chalet is fully equipped with AC, toilet, Wash-basin, hot and cold running water, shower, 220VAC electricity.

Travel between Garoua and the camp is made in less than three hours by vehicle, thus avoiding an expensive charter to camp.

Hunting in the Savannah is allowed in north Cameroon between December 1 st and May 31st. The days are warm and the nights are cool from December to March. The heat increases progressively until the first rains.

Hunting

Most of the traveling is done in four wheel-drive vehicles, and soon as the first tracks are found, the hunting is done by foot, following the animal tracks with your PH and trackers.
