with Algar
Algar
Safaris owns their own 60,000 acre private ranch located just 60
miles north from the beautiful city of San Carlos de Bariloche,
which is easily reached by daily flights from Buenos Aires.
The
scenic and hilly terrain is surrounded by rivers and furrowed by
streams. You will find this country very vast and open, making it
easy to spot game from high vantage points.
The
ranch is the perfect habitat for Red Stag, which are found in
abundance and free roaming. The hunting season for Red Stag opens at
the end of February and lasts up to the end of June. In addition to
Stag, they have Fallow Deer, Mouflon Sheep, Blackbuck Antelope, Axis
Deer, Water Buffalo, Puma & Wild Boar.
Algar
owns the third world largest population of Pere David’s deer, and
Algar is the only place in the world where Pere David’s deer can be
hunted free range.
Accommodations are world class; the lodge has been totally rebuilt
last year. The lodge is equipped with six master bedrooms with all
the comfort of a five stars hotel.

There is
a chef who prepares delicious home-style and international meals.
Wines, beer and liquors are always available.
